Firstly we are not a service provider per se. As part of a broader remit to promote and develop open source software, we build sites and host them here on the DEOSS Community Webserver. This is a dedicated Linux server that we buy from our in-line provider, a company we believe to be one of the best ISP's in on the planet, Bytemark.
Secondly, we are honest about our technical issues. Fortunately we suffer very few technical issues. However when we do, we own up! This means when issues occur, you don't waste valuable time battling with techies who are in a permanent state of denial. We even publish a web log that lists all the changes we make to the DEOSS community web server together with any technical problems. Moreover, when issues do arise, we get them fixed. Fast!
