DEOSS community server uses a dedicated dual-core processor machine provided by UK-based Bytemark Ltd. It uses the so-called "LAMP" stack - a stable and 100% open source bundle of software that forms the core of many of the planet's webservers. In our case, the LAMP stack features the latest stable and mutually compatible releases of:-
- Debian GNU/Linux
- Apache webserver
- MySQL back-end database
- PHP programming language
